Cecil Pillion

Cecil Pillion, 76, of Tazewell, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at his sister’s home.  He was born in Claiborne County on October 10, 1940 a son of Floyd and Bertha Massengill Pillion.  He had been a farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Janice DeYoung.

Survivors include his wife, Mona Yeary Pillion; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Wendy Pillion; step-son, Jerry Johnson; grandsons, Daniel and Eli Pillion; brothers, Ray Pillion, Pascal Pillion, Estel Pillion and Oscar Pillion; sisters, Bernice Yeary, Jerlene Jones and Cathy Sowders and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be at 12:00 Noon Friday at the Mount  Zion Cemetery with Rev. Wendell Daniels.  Burial will follow the services.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at the Mount Zion Baptist Church.
