Cecil Edward Hurley

June 19, 1962 — November 3, 2022

Cecil Edward Hurley, 60 of Harrodsburg, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at his home in Harrodsburg. He was born in Stephenville, Newfoundlnd, Canada on June 19, 1962, a son of the late Hascue and Lennie Ethel Robbins Hurley. Cecil had been an electrical engineer for General Electric.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Hascue Hurley, Jr.


Cecil is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Clint and April Hurley; daughter and son-in-law, Brooke and Justin Abbott; grandchildren, Jakeb Hurley, Dylan Hurley, Harper Hurley, Addison Abbott, and Avery Abbott; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lloyd and Sheila Hurley, Frank and JoAnn Hurley, and Karen Hurley; nieces and nephews, Christopher Hurley, Jonathan Hurley, Matthew Hurley, Daniel Hurley, Joseph Hurley, and Grace Hurley; special cousin, Susan Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Green Hills Memorial Gardens with Rev. Danny Robbins presiding.
