Cecil Early

Cecil Early passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, having lived a blessed life of 97 years. He was married to his beloved wife, Louise, for 77 years.

He will be missed by children, Dennis and Kathy Early and Barbara and Gary Ritch; grandchildren, Gary and Shannon Ritch, Denny and Adrienne Early, and Jessica and Chris Jackson; great-grandchildren, Justin and Samantha Ritch, Jared Ritch, Dominick Early, Anna Early, and Gwen Early; great-great-grandchildren, Genesis and Ronin; devoted brothers and sisters, Robert and Mattie Early, Elmer and Julia Early, Coleman and Lila Early, Johnny and Florene Early, Everett Estil and Myrtle Early, Luther and Shirley Early, Argie and Jay Taylor, Ollie and Nathan Emery, and Mary and John Denny.

Cecil retired from General Motors Truck and Bus after 33 years of service. He was proud to claim that he only missed 3 days of work during that time. Cecil was also a Pastor at Tanyard Church for several years and worked in the coal mines in Kentucky. Cecil enjoyed raising a big garden, canning vegetables, and loved sharing with them with his friends and neighbors. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and trapping.

We are comforted knowing he is with his beloved Louise.

A visitation will take place from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the Coats Funeral Home in Clarkston, Michigan.

Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the Pineville Memorial Cemetery in Pineville, Kentucky. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, Kentucky, is honored to assist the Early Family.
