Cassie Begley

Cassie Begley, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the age of 87. Cassie was born on March 15, 1931 in Ingram, Kentucky to Robert Hendrickson Begley and Sudie Elizabeth Goodin Begley. Cassie was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Anson Begley, Ben C. Begley, Otto Begley, Ira Begley and Shelvie Begley; two sisters, Pauline Begley Ferguson and Ardith Begley Lawson. Cassie believed in the Baptist Faith and was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church at Ingram, Kentucky. Cassie retired from First State Bank, Pineville, Kentucky after some 40 years of service. She enjoyed meeting with the retired ladies from the bank for luncheons each month. Survivors include many special nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews and a special sister-in-law, Eloise Begley. The family would like to thank special friends, Dorothy Jackson, Rossie Baker; neighbors, Maybell Marsee, Rita and Shelton Evans. Also a special thanks to Darrell Bays. Cassie was loved by all and will be missed. Visitation for Cassie will be at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home on Friday, February 1st from 11:00 until 12:30 PM. The funeral will follow at 1:15 PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church on Highway 92 with Rev. Paul Wayne Goodin presiding. Private graveside services for the immediate family will be at the Begley Cemetery.
