Carolyn Sue Smith

Carolyn Sue Brown Smith, 70 of Fourmile, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Pineville Community Health Center. She was born in Xenia, Ohio on December 13, 1951, a daughter of the late Harry and Ada Brackett Brown. Carolyn was a believer in the Presbyterian Faith and had been a Certified Public Accountant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Smith. Carolyn is survived by her children and their spouses, Jack and Kristy Smith, Lynda Goodin, Mary and Mike Matheny, and Janice Michelle Smith; grandchildren, Michael Marsee, Nicholas Beverly, Richard Beverly, Jonathan Beverly, Josh Beverly, Michael Queener, Amber Queener, Jordan Queener, Joseph Covington, Jackson Smith, and Maddison Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home in Pineville with Rev. Bill Dunn and Rev. Arthur Jackson presiding. Burial will follow at the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Smith Family.
