Carol Geneva Morgan

Carol Geneva Morgan, 72, of Stoney Fork, Kentucky passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Beverly, Kentucky on November 19, 1952, and was the daughter of the late Richard and Ruth Howard Caldwell. Carol was a member of Solid Rock Pentecostal Church and had worked as a Registered Nurse, with many years spent at Middlesboro ARH Hospital.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rush Morgan; sister, Glenda Brock; and brother, Ricky Caldwell.

Survivors include her children, Nanita Morgan and Jason Morgan; brothers, Nelson Caldwell and wife, Tammy, and Herman Caldwell and wife, Jenny; sisters, Delilah Caldwell and husband, Vic, and Mary Jane Widener; sister-in-law, Jennifer Caldwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Bailey and Rev. Johnny Crisp officiating. The music will be provided by Ryan Osborne. Burial will follow in the Honey Branch Cemetery in Middle Fork. The pallbearers will be Joshua Owens, Chase Caldwell, Tim Caldwell, Isiah Caldwell, Larry York and Ashton York. Her special brother-in-law, Vic Caldwell, is her honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends after 6:00 PM on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to be serving the Morgan family.
