Linda Carmack Smith, 51 of Flat Lick passed away Friday, October 10, 2008 at her son?s home in Botavia, OH. She was born in Ingram on December 19, 1956 a daughter of the late Fred Thomas and Augustine Carroll Carmack. She was a member of Coal Branch Baptist Church in Knox County and had been a Certified Nurse?s Assistant with Professional Home Health Agency in Barbourville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Glenous Carmack and Nolan Carmack. Survivors include her son, Tommy Smith and fiancé? April Witt of Botavia, OH; daughter, August Shyanne Sizemore of Botavia, OH; grandchildren, Hannah Smith of Dayton, OH and Evan Smith of Botavia, OH; brothers, Bethel and Bernice Carmack of Harrogate, Norman and Cheryl Carmack of Pineville and H.A. and Janet Carmack of Pineville; sister, Freda and Bob Mayes of Newcomb, TN; sister-in-law, Joan Carmack of Lawrenceburg, IN; special friends, like sisters to Linda, Carolyn Overton, Susan Keck and Beulah Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
