Burl Sequoia Garland

Burl Ben Sequoia Garland,44 of Speedwell, TN passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019.  He was born in Ypsilanti, MI on July 13, 1974 to the late Levada L. Garland.  Burl was a lover of nature and was a natural born musician who loved to play the drums.

He is proceeded in death by his mother, Levada Louise Garland; grandparents, Ben Herman and Mary (McCoy) Garland and aunt, Toni Blake.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 17 years, Melissa "Missy" (Cheek) Garland; step-son, Jeremiah Rosson; father and mother-in-law, Roger and Joyce Cheek; brother-in-law, Roger Cheek; aunt, Rosemary "Sue" (Matthew) Corcoran along with many loving family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
