Buddy “Cud” Tigue, 62 of Flat Lick, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. He was born in Pineville on December 2, 1958, a son of the late Uall “Bud” and Myrtle Mason Tigue. Cud was a member of the Dorton Branch Church of God and had been a carpenter and mason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, James Tigue, Benny Tigue, Brenda Tigue, and Ray “Bit” Edwards; Aunt Did; and nephews, Michael Tigue and David Warren. Cud is survived by his wife of 11 years, Sheila Lynn Ledington Tigue; children, Angel Ridell, Lacey “Nicky” Taylor and husband, Michael; Rachel Perkins, and Katie Taylor; grandchildren, Devin Boggs, Emberlynn Goodin, Trenton Goodin, Bryson Taylor, Jensen Taylor, Payton Slone, Bristol Slone, and Tate Slone; honorary grandchildren, Abby Rose Tigue, Caleb “CJ” Jarvis, Cannon Michael Warren, Harley Broughton; sister, Lavella Warren; sister-in-law, Judy Tigue; nieces and nephews, Missy Brown, Jamie Tigue, Samantha Vogelsang, Ben Tigue, Jessica Mason, Benji Tigue, Bobby Tigue and their spouses; honorary nieces, Brianna Broughton and Brooklynn Broughton; Aunt Ethel; Albert Philpot; Rick Griffin; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Monday, May 9, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. James Griffin presiding. Music will be provided by Jimmy Rose and Chris Rose. Burial will follow at the Trace Branch Cemetery in Heidrick. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Tigue Family.
