Brent D Engle

Brent D. Engle of Harrogate, TN passed away on June 10, 2019 after a valiant battle with cancer at the age of 59. Brent was born on February 11,1960 to Orville and Dorothy Engle in Pineville, KY. Brent was a graduate of Pineville High School and later earned an associate degree in nursing from Lincoln Memorial University. Brent was preceded in death by his parents, Orville Leo and Dorothy (Bailey) Engle of Pineville, KY, mother-in-law, Pauline (Cloud) Grubbs of Dizney, KY, father-in-law, Buford J. Grubbs of Kenvir, KY, brother-in-law, Jack Grubbs and sister-in-law, Andrea Guthrie. He is survived by a loving wife of 39 1/2 years, Sonya (Grubbs) Engle whom he married on August 25, 1979. He is also survived by sons, who he was very proud of, Joshua Engle and Jacob Engle and his wife, Emily ; brother and sister-in-law, Mark Bailey and Deborah Engle; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lanny Walls, Scott Grubbs, Sheila and Ralph Cloud and Tracy and Roger Bowman; best friend who always called him 'Bud,' Doug Roper and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many friends. Services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Engle presiding. Music will be by Liza Rogers. Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens, Evarts, KY. Pallbearers will be Jacob Engle, Joshua Engle, Jason Engle, Eric Engle, Kyle Engle and Cameron Engle. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12 until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Engle Family.
