Brenda Sue McGeorge

Brenda Sue Engle McGeorge, 73 of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at her home. She was born in Straight Creek on September 17, 1952, a daughter of the late Jessie Drexel “Teddy” Engle and Ruby Engle. Brenda loved caring for other people and her dogs. She had been a Registered Nurse working within the Appalachian Regional Hospitals and Pineville Community Health Center.

In addition to her parent, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry McGeorge.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, April McGeorge Green and husband, Brent; sons, Larry Lancer McGeorge and wife, Natalie, and Joe Namath McGeorge; grandchildren, Jacob McGeorge, Conner Ford, Dakota McGeorge, Casey McGeorge, and Gage McGeorge; great-grandchild, Malik Ford; sisters, Patsy Stewart and Linda Reddington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the McGeorge Family.
