Brenda Davis

Brenda Sue Moore Davis, 69 of Tazewell, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born at Grays Knob in Harlan County, Kentucky on May 12, 1945 and was a daughter of the late Tommy, Jr. and Elizabeth Jean Hall Moore. Brenda had also lived in Indianapolis, Indiana for 35 years, where she retired as a Shipping Clerk for Regency Electronics Company. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Roy Eugene 'Gene' Davis of Tazewell; daughter, Betty Jean Legan and husband, Duane of Cary, NC; grandsons, Joshua Kyle Legan and Jacob Daniel Legan; sister and brothers, Ruth Clem, David Moore, Rick Moore and Wayne Moore all of Harlan County; close family friends, Betty Ward and Tina Howard; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Gary Craig. Cremation services will follow at the Arnett & Steele Cremation Center in Pineville and private burial will be held at a later time.
