Boyd Freeman

Boyd Freeman, 74, of Pineville passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Claiborne Health and Rehabilitation in Harrogate. He was born in Pineville on March 18, 1951, a son of the late Dillard and Lizzie Fuson Freeman. Boyd loved to fish and garden and had been a coal loader by trade.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, James Freeman, Chester Freeman, Rose Cozette, and Troy Freeman.

Boyd is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Eric Fuson; son, Boyd Lee Freeman; grandchildren, Brad and Jessica Fuson and Hannah and Nick Holbrook, all of Pineville; siblings, John Freeman, Raymond Freeman, Clarence Freeman, Nellie Freman, Dillard Freeman, and Polly Hyatt; and a host of other relatives and friends.

At Boyd’s request, private services will be held at a later time.
