Boone Abner

Boone Abner, 81, of Pineville, passed away on January 30, 2018 at Lake Ridge Acres in Cincinnati, OH. He was born at Hammonds Fork , KY on June 19, 1936 a son of the late Joseph and Effie Jane Stewart Abner. He had been a carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Abner, sister, Sophie Abner and brothers, Thea and John Abner. Survivors include his children, Timmy Abner, Penny Abner Johnson, Lisa Abner Reynolds, Mary Abner White and Stacy Abner; nine grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arthur Jackson and Rev. Hardy Franks. Burial will be in the Calvin - Jordan Cemetery at Hammonds Fork with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 until 9 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Abner Family.
