Bobbie Lou (Laws) Price

June 11, 1937 — August 27, 2024

Speedwell, Tennessee

Bobbie Lou Laws Price, age 87, of Speedwell Tennessee, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. She was born in June 11, 1937 in Middlesboro, Kentucky and was a member of the Lafollette Church of Christ. She was a loving wife and homemaker for her husband, Ulis Price, for 70 years. Her devoted, sacrificial love for her family was apparent to anyone who knew her. She raised her children to love the Lord and approach every problem with courage and honesty. She was a fierce protector of those she loved, and always brought laughter and fun to her household. Bobbie was an amazing cook and masterful quilter. She sewed clothes for her children and crocheted constantly. Everywhere you looked in her home there were beautiful things she crafted. She loved bowling and playing games with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Lydia Laws, and her siblings Jack Long, Elizabeth Powers, and Billie Smith. She is survived by her husband, Ulis Price, her children and their spouses, Cathy (Darryl) Glenn, Jeffrey (Cindy) Price, Michael (Martha) Price, and Rebecca (Steely) Barnett. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, Leslie (Jeremy) Price, Lauren (Russell) McElroy, Brooke (Josh) Kerr, Justin (Traci) Price, Matthew (Breanna) Price, MacKenzie (Jeremy) Siler, Tatum (Daniel) Slusher, 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to those who supported our family during her lengthy illness, especially Suncrest Hospice, MaryBeth Pierce, Missy Knight, Vickie Cosby, and Gloria Howard.

Graveside services will be conducted 11AM Friday, August 30, 2024 in the Carr Cemetery, Speedwell, with Bro. Jim Callahan officiating. The obituary will be read by Ben Shafer. Music will be provided by Perry Vinsant.
