Blanche Philpot Haws

Blanche Philpot Haws, 89 of Lexington, formerly of Tinsley passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in London. She was born in Pineville on July 23, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mollie Hembree Philpot. Blanche was a believer in the Baptist faith and had been a Homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl G. Haws; sons, Earl Haws, Jr. and Robert Terry Haws; and sisters, Serilla Carroll and Gladys Mason. Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Davis and Bobby Glass of Westland, MI; a son, Tommy Haws and wife, Peggy of London, KY; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
