Billy Eugene Green

Billy Eugene Green, 78, of Pineville, passed away, Monday, December 30, 2024, after a long

battle with cancer. He was born in Harlan County, Kentucky, on September 6, 1946, a son of the

late Martin and Alice Alford Green. He was of the Baptist Faith, he was retired after working as

an electrician, coal miner, and HVAC Instructor at the Southeast Community and Technical

College. He had also been a truck driver and business owner.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, John L. Green, Robert Paul Green, and Charles Green.

Sisters, Mary Williams, and Jewell Woodard. Nephews Tracy Green and Martin Woodard, as

well as lifelong friend Harold Harbin.

He is survived by his daughters; Jennifer Bean-Lee (Gary), Janet Jackson and Jodie Green-

Gehbauer (John). Grandsons; Jesse Bean and Tanner Jackson. Favorite granddaughter Julie Bean

and fiancé Martin Jones. Ex Wife Cassie Green. Special Friends Debbie Engle, Johnny Tipton,

Lena Harbin, and Darrel Brock. Brother-In-Law, Nick Woodward. Nephews Doug Woodard, Joel

Woodard, Jeff Woodard, Jason Green, Chad Green, and Travis Green. As well as a host of other

relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 5:00 PM, at the Arnett and

Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, with Rev. Bill Engle officiating. The family will receive

friends at the Arnett and Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from

3:00 PM until the funeral hour.
