Billy Wayne Cinnamon

Billy Wayne Cinnamon, 76 of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones at the Select Specialty Care in Powell, Tennessee. He was born in Arjay on September 14, 1949, a son of the late Earl Cinnamon and Evelynn Jeffrey Cinnamon Johnson. Billy proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He had been a coal miner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Jeanne Elizabeth Gambrel Cinnamon; and brothers, Larry Cinnamon, Charles David Cinnamon, Gary and Debbie Cinnamon, and Randall Lee Cinnamon.

Billy is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Clark Jones; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Amy Cinnamon; grandchildren, Halle Grace Jones, Owen Clark Jones, Bryleigh Lefevers, Brianna Baker, Brayden Baker, Brystal Lefevers, and Brody Lefevers; sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Harry Philpot; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Penny Johnson; sister-in-law, Vicki Cinnamon; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 3, 2026, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Sanders and Mr. Wayne Walters presiding. Music will be provided by Sarah Watkins.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Cinnamon Family.
