Billy Grant Bays

Billy Grant Bays, age 55, passed away at his home in Pineville, Kentucky on Sunday, July 31st, 2022. He was born in Fourmile on February 22, 1967, the son of the late Shelby Jean Smallwood and George Ted Bays. Billy was a believer in the Baptist Faith and had been a roofer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Wayne Lawson. Left to cherish his memory are his significant other, Betty Powers; and a daughter whom he raised as his own, Marla (Anthony) Perry; their children, Jody, Maya, Emma, and Freya. He leaves behind nieces, Barb (Bounce), Crystal, and Angel; a nephew, Robert Lee; and many special friends and family members, too many to name. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the Newtown Park. Per Billy's wishes he was cremated and will be buried with his mother and brother in Hinkle, Kentucky.
