Bill G. Partin

Bill G. Partin, 76, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the Middlesboro Health and Rehabilitation Facility. He was born in Middlesboro on March 31, 1941, a son of the late James Mart and Tilda Webb Partin. He was a member of Underwood Grove Baptist Church and had worked as a tool grinder for the Schwinn Bicycle Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Lewis Partin, whom he married on May 3, 1965; a son, Bill Edward Partin and a brother, Ghesty Partin. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Janie and Frank Chumley, Kathy and Bill Jones, Jesse and Billie Jean Partin; grandchildren, Andrea (Corey) Campbell, Gabriel Partin, William Partin, Alexander Partin, B.H. (Amy) Partin, Caleb (Alicia) Partin, Madison Chumley, Jimmy Jones, Elmer Jones, Cherish Jones and Justin Jones; great-grandchildren, Reece and Simon Partin; brothers and sisters, Byrd Partin, Lonnie Partin, Sam Partin, Carrie Elliott, Violet Craig, Sharon Lundy and Lillian Partin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special appreciation is extended to everyone at Middlesboro Heath and Rehab for their care, compassion and friendship. The family will host a memorial service will on Wednesday, September 20 at 1:00 PM at the Webb Cemetery on Round Ridge Road in Frakes, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be made in Bill's memory to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org. Following Bill's request he was cremated at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Partin Family.
