Bill Nantz

Bill Nantz, 81 of Calvin, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was born in Fourmile on April 13, 1940, a son of the late Shilo and Annie Hunt Nantz. Bill had worked in the deep mines. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James T. Nantz and sister, Jessie Nantz. Bill is survived by his sons, Donald Ray Nantz and Timothy Nantz and his wife, Leketta; grandchildren, Scarlett Mills, Cassidy Nantz, and Devan Nantz; great-grandchildren, Emersyn Mills, Harper Hatmaker, and Lily Nantz; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Bain Cemetery in Fourmile with Rev. Arthur Jackson presiding. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Nantz Family.
