Betty Jean Trosper Venable

Betty Jean Trosper Venable, 78, of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Continued Care Hospital, Corbin. She was born in Hopkinsville, KY on December 3, 1936, a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Sally Johnson Trosper. She was a member of West Pineville Baptist Church and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benis 'Red' Venable and twelve brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Steve and Tina Venable; Deborah and Jeff Jones; Mike and Lisa Venable; Anthony and Tonya Venable and Tyler and Rebecca Venable; grandchildren, Brittney and Patrick Nuskey, Kristy Snyder, Elliot and Samantha Kaelber ,Caitlyn Kaelber, Allie Venable, Braden Venable and Tori Venable; great-grandchildren, Drew and Julia Snyder, Peyton, Parker and Presleigh Venable, Juniper Kaelber and Josephine Nuskey and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 4:00 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Eddie Schoolcraft. Burial will be in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery with Steve, Mike Anthony, and Tyler Venable, Jeff Jones and Patrick Nuskey serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. The family will receive friends from 1 until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Venable family.
