Betty Mayfield

January 11, 1959 — July 5, 2022

Betty Jo Mayfield entered peacefully into her rest on July 5, 2022. She is survived by her sister, Francis Baker and her husband, James; brothers, Lonnie Lee and wife, Debbie, Otto Lee and wife, Melissa. She is preceded in death by her mom, Locie Lee and father, Grant Lee, originally of Brownies Creek. Betty was born in Cincinnati, OH on January 11, 1959, and moved to Pineville, Kentucky after spending many years in Anderson, SC. She attended Loveland Elementary and Goshen High School, graduating in 1978. While living in South Carolina she attended Living Water Church where she was baptized and became a member of the church. She had a servant’s heart and the gift of help and was instrumental in giving assistance to many elderly an infirmed due to age and medical condition. She always loved her animals and always wanted them with her. She enjoyed working around the house and often helped others with their own household chores. Her laugh and good humor was an enjoyment to her family and she will be greatly missed. Services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Ferndale Pentecostal Church with Visitation at 4 o’clock and services at 6. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville is honored to serve the Mayfield Family. Light a candle of remembrance and sign the guest register at www.arnettsteele.com.
