Betty Jo Howard

Betty Jo Howard, 68 of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the University of Kentucky Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. She was born in Harlan on March 21, 1954, a daughter of the late Carmel and Georgia Fuston Hoskins. Betty served her country in the United States Navy. Betty is survived by her brothers and sisters, Norman Hoskins and wife, Carolyn, Vickie Lynn Brummett and husband, Millard, Carmel Hoskins, Jr. and wife, Jay Genia, Julius Hoskins and wife, Trena, Rose Mary Shackleford, John Matt Golden and wife, Pamela; special nephew, Cheyanne Shackleford; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the Gibson Cemetery in Clear Creek with Rev. Norman Hoskins presiding. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville which is honored to serve the Howard Family.
