Betty J. (Ervin) Braden

Betty J. Braden, 69, of Speedwell, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Claiborne Medical Center.  She was born in Tazewell, on February 28, 1948 a daughter of the late Alvie and Nellie Dyer Ervin.  She had worked in Pool Management. After her retirement 18 years ago in Newport Michigan, she returned to Speedwell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Braden and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Doyle Ray and Geri Braden and Dennis Zen and Jackie Braden; grandchildren, Eric, Jessy, Derek, Amber, Cassie and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Rylan, Owen and Leah and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday at Pine Grove Church with Rev. Jim Branscomb.  Music will be by the Church Choir.  Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery at Speedwell with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 – 8:00 PM at the Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel, Harrogate which is honored to serve the Braden Family.
