Betty Jean Chadwell

Betty Jean Good Chadwell, 87 of Middlesboro, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at the Tri State Manor in Harrogate. She was born in Fork Ridge, Tennessee on October 26, 1934, a daughter of the late James Lewis and Mable Phelps Good. Betty loved her C.B. Radio, animals and especially cats, and short shopping trips with friends. She had been a believer in the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Glenn Chadwell; brothers, Edward Lee Good and James Harrell Good both WWII Veterans, Paul Marion Good a Korean War Veteran, and Clyde Francis Good a Vietnam Veteran; her infant sister, Eula Marie Good; and special friend, Catherine “Dee” Roberts. Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol Ann and David Luntsford; grandchildren, Brandon Luntsford and Kristin Luntsford; great-grandchildren, Keenan Luntsford, Davey Luntsford, and Jaina Brock; special friends, Bobbie Smith and her daughter, Kat; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Due to Covid 19 concerns, the family has decided to have private services at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro.
