Bessie Taylor Lefevers

Bessie Taylor Lefevers, 79 of Kettle Island, KY passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the Pineville Community Health Center. She was born November 30, 1939 in Jenson, KY to the late William "Bill" and Sarah Cox Taylor. Bessie was a member at Mill Creek Baptist Church and worked for 30 years in the PVA office. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers; William Gillis Taylor and Matt Orville Taylor, sister; Mary Elliott and nephews; Clinton Elliott and Bill David Elliott. She is survived by her daughters; Emily Lefevers Hoskins and Joyce Mary (Mike) Lefevers, grandchildren; Clint (April) Hurley and Brooke Hurley, great grandchildren; Jakeb Hurley, Dylan Hurley, Harper Hurley, Addison Abbott and Avery Abbott and their father, Justin Abbott along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family wants to extend a special thank you to the Pineville Community Health Center for their exceptional care of Bessie. Services will be Wednesday, November 27 at 1:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Sanders officiating. Music will be provided by Mickey Wilder. Burial will follow in the Jenson Cemetery in Jenson, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Clint Hurley, Jason Taylor, Clark Taylor, Justin Abbott, Eugene Collett, Jim Miracle and Brian Yankey. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 27 from 11:00AM to the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Lefevers Family.
