Bessie Leath

Bessie Leath, 79 of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at the Barbourville ARH. She was born in Pineville on October 29, 1942, a daughter of the late James and Lissy Polly Leath. Bessie had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Bessie was preceded in death by her brother and sisters, Christine Wilson, Lula Belle Wilson, Jim Tom Leath, and Maude Mullins. Bessie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stella and Thomas Tigue; grandchildren, Jeffrey Tigue, William Horne, Brandon Horne, Edward Horne, Anthony Tigue and Michael Wayne Tigue; great-grand-daughter, Malayah Horne; special friends, Reva Fuson, Lillie Logan, Lonnie Maiden and Larry Miracle; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Monday, February 21, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Maiden presiding. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Leath Family.
