Bessie Brock Caldwell

Bessie Brock Caldwell, 91, of Miracle, entered into her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Saylor, KY on August 24, 1922 a daughter of the late Barry and Malinda Caldwell Brock. She had attended both the Baptist and Pentecostal Church and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, George Caldwell; son, Donald Caldwell, grandson, Jerome Caldwell, daughter-in-law, Nettie Caldwell; bothers and sisters, Charlie Brock, Farmer Brock, Bill Brock, Elisha Brock, Johnny Brock, Polly Taylor, Dora Brock and infant sister, Molly Brock. Left to rejoice in her journey home are her children and their spouses, Louise and Kenneth Hoskins, Miracle; Linda and James Dunn, Harrogate; Audrey and Paul Bailey, Pineville; Wayne and Gail Caldwell, Nolansburg, KY; Georgia and Tom Wilson, Collinsville, VA; Kendrick Caldwell, Salt Trace; Herman Caldwell, Tazewell, TN and Larry Caldwell, Lenoir, TN; grandchildren, Anita Hoskins and Emily Hoskins, Miracle; Christopher and Shannon Dunn and Chad Dunn, Harrogate; Rebecca and Johnny Crisp, Pineville; Dana and Jason Goh, Versailles; Eleshia and Josh Scholes, Reading, OH; Stevie and Lisa Caldwell, Salt Trace; Kendrick Joe and Linda Caldwell, Tackytown; Larry Caldwell, Jr., Knoxville; Marcinia and Kenneth Bailey, Ajay; Amanda Caldwell, Tazewell; Crystal Caldwell, Frakes; Elizabeth Caldwell, WV; Tommy Wilson, Collinsville, VA; Donna and David Rennard, Chicago, IL and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Solid Rock Pentecostal Church at Kettle Island with Rev. Paul Bailey and Rev. Johnny Crisp. Music will be by the Church Family. Burial will be in the Salt Trace Cemetery at Bledsoe with grandsons and great-grandsons serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Brady Dunn. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 until 9 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Caldwell Family.
