Bertha Brock Hunter

Bertha Brock Hunter, 72, of Little Clear Creek, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital, London. She was born in Brock Hollow on June 15, 1944 a daughter of the late James Scott and Elizabeth Caldwell Brock. She was a member of the Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sister, Will, Ralph, Millard, Rachel, Robert and Bruce Brock. Survivors include her husband, Charles L. Hunter; sons, Terrence Hunter and wife, Beth; Charles Hunter, Donald Hunter and wife, Carroll; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Reed Brock (Geneva), Colson Brock, Grover Brock, Mary Bullins, Irene Brock, Cuba Phipps (Jesse), Helen Hunter (Bobby), Laura Bingham, Katherine Cavin and Gladys Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at the Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Clint Goodin and Rev. Denny Hunter. Music will be by the Church Choir. Burial will be in the Fuson Chapel Cemetery at Little Clear Creek. Pallbearers will be Donald Hunter, Jr., Eric Hunter, Joseph Hunter, Keith Fuson, Scott Hunter, Mark Hunter, Waylon Hunter and Tyrone Bartley. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 9:00 PM at the Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
