Bernice Hensley Grubb, 52, of Flat Lick, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at St. Joseph, Lexington. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on May 17, 1966 a daughter of Bob and Mildred Hensley and Foster Daughter of Rev. Ed and Peggy Hoskins. She believed in the Pentecostal Faith and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Charles David Hensley and grandparents, Albert and Myrtle Hensley. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Isaac Grubb; foster parents, Rev. Ed and Peggy Hoskins; sister, Sheila Ann and Lonnie Lewis, Daril Wane and Angie Hensley, Ronald Albert and Fern Hensley; half brother, Carl Anthony Broughton; special aunt, Virgie Smith brothers and sisters-in-laws, Judy Butler, Curtis Grubb, Harvey Grubb and Ulyss Grubb and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be on Friday at 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Van Johnson, Rev. Gary Wagner and Rev. Phillip Jackson. Music will be by Rev. and Mrs. Van Johnson and Julie Wagner. Burial will be in Hammons Cemetery, Flat Lick with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the family of Bernice Grubb.
