Berchel Sullivan

Berchel Sullivan, 88, of Kettle Island went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital. He was born in Harlan County on April 6, 1929 a son of the late Harmon and Bertha Saylor Sullivan. He had worked at the Moses Safe Company for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Loretta Caldwell Sullivan; son and daughter-in law, Leon and Valerie Sullivan; grandchildren, Leon Hunter Sullivan, Cheyenne Faith Sullivan, Leeann Elizabeth Sullivan and Hope Nicole Sullivan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Hensley and Mr. Eric Hubbard. Music will be by the Old Kettle Island Holiness Church. Burial will be in the Turner Church Cemetery at Colmer. Pallbearers will include, Joshua Warren, Eric Hubbard and Luther Reeves. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11 until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Sullivan Family.
