Beatrice Marie Simpson

Beatrice Marie Mays Simpson, 77, of Pineville, Went to be with the lord on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Carpenter, KY on July 1, 1940 a daughter of the late Hustler D. and Prudence Tye Mays. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and had worked and retired in housekeeping at Britthaven Nursing Home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Simpson; brothers John Jackson Mays, Bobby Mays, Tommy Mays ,Joe Louis Mays and grandson, Blake Daniel Simpson. Survivors include her companion of 45 years Billy Ray Fulton, children, Eugenia Simpson Morgan, Carolene Simpson, Paula (Orlando) Warren and Patricia Simpson, grandchildren, Brandy Simpson, Gregory Warren, Tyler Marie Warren, Christina Simpson, and Dakota Daniel; great-grandchildren, Destiny Edwards, Kailani Love and Chozyn Wilkerson; sister, Mary Washington; special niece, Alexis Elizabeth McKnight and a host of other relatives and friends. At the request of Bea, no Funeral Service will be held, a Committal Service will be at 12 Noon Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Cornett. Burial will be in the Carpenter Cemetery in Whitley County, KY. Pallbearers will be Harold Hill, Darrell Washington, Ricky Washington Jr., Gregory Warren, Richard Washington and Andrew Washington. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Simpson Family.
