Baxter Brock

Baxter Brock, 83 of Beverly, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at his home. He was born in Mud Lick on April 5, 1939, a son of the late Wilk and Emma Taylor Brock. Baxter had been a handyman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Debbie Brock, Ruby Swallows, Jim Brock, Sarah Asher, Marlin Brock, Ford Brock, and Carter Brock. Baxter is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ruth Marilyn Houser Brock; son, John Houser; daughter Ruby Leigh Brock Collett; grandchildren, Quintin Houser, Keyona Houser, Kylee Danielle Collett, and Clyde Jacob Brock; sisters, Opal Lee Asher and Thelma Brock; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the Beverly United Methodist Church with Rev. Jamie Brunk, Rev. Larry Toner, and Rev. John Saylor presiding. Music will be provided by Kathy Brock. Burial will follow at the Mud Lick Cemetery in Red Bird. Pallbearers will be Kenny Asher, Shaun Asher, Quintin Houser, Carl Brock, George Hubbard, Ken Wilson, Cody Asher, and John Houser. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:30 PM until 9:00 PM at the Beverly United Methodist Church.
