Barbara Jean Widener Brock

Barbara Jean Widener Brock, 69, of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. Barbara was born on October 1, 1955, to the late Howard A. Widener and Wilma Elliott Widener. Barbara was a believer in the Baptist Faith and had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant son Anthony Howard, brothers and sisters, Howard A. Widener and Peggy A. Widener, brother-in-law, Mickey Garrison, and son in law, Charles (Bob) Lawson.

Barbara is survived by her children, Barbara ME “Cookie” Lawson, Lowell C. Howard and Fiancé Gail Blevins, Jennifer J. Howard, and Valery V. Satowski and fiancé Darrell Stephens. Grandchildren, Andrea Nicole and husband Adrian Akins, Charles Austin and wife Ivy Lawson, Madison and husband Johnathan Simpson, Lowell Kyle and fiancé Jayden Heck, Julia R. Howard, Barry Landon Howard, Cody Forester, Tyler Forester and fiancé Mary Johnson, Meradith Rutherford and fiancé Matt Weems, Kayla Satowski, and Gavin Satowski, Great Grandchildren, Olivia and Elle Forester, and Tripp Forester and Nola, brothers and sisters, Rose and husband Jackie Hoskins, David and wife Judy Widener, Lou Ann Garrison, Phillip and wife Sally Widener, and Teresa and husband Alan Stinson, sister in law, Irene Widener, special aunt Sue Nunn, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Arnett and Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, with Rev. Bobby Grubbs officiating. Music will be provided by Michaelyn Dye, Nicole Akins, and Mark Murhuan. Burial will follow at the Liberty Cemetery at Straight Creek. Pallbearers will be Kyle Howard, Austin Lawson, Adrian Akins, Cody Forester, Tyler Forester, and Gavin Satowski. Honorary Pallbearers are Meradith Rutherford, Matt Weems, and Anthony Sexton. Visitation will be held from noon until the funeral hour, on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Arnett and Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, Kentucky.
