Barbara Faye Johnson Taylor, 66, or Pineville, passed away on Wednesday at Tenova-Turkey Creek Medical Center, Knoxville. She was born in Harlan on November 22, 1949 a daughter of the late Henry and Bertha Bradshaw Johnson. She had worked as a Dietary Technician at Pineville Community Hospital for 28 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Charlie 'Butch' Brandenburg and Tom Johnson. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Billy Taylor, daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Allen Smith, grand-dogs, AJ and Daisy; brothers and sisters, Carrie Marie Cavin, Husband ,David; Timmy Wayne Johnson and Dexter Brandenburg, wife, Joyce; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeanne Brandenburg, Ann Johnson, Diane Cox, Donna Jean Taylor, Mary Ann Hensley, Chris Daniels, husband, Ricky, Virginia Lefevers, husband, Glenn and Robert Taylor, wife, Joann; special friends from the PCH Dietary Department and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks for your care and concern to Dr. Martha Combs, all caregivers and the Critical Care staff at Tenova -Turkey Creek Medical Center. Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Allen Lord, Bishop Marshal Reynolds and Jimmy Smith. Music will be by Courtney Smith and Allen Lord. Burial will be in the Himyar Cemetery at Artemis. Pallbearers will be Dustin Hensley, Tyler Smith, Clint Lefevers, Brad Lefevers, Doug Felton and Steve Howard. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 until 9 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Taylor Family.
