Barbara Darleen Rutherford

Barbara Darleen Rutherford, age 67 of Arjay, KY, left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior on February 9th, 2022. Barbara was a long-time follower of Jesus and her light always shined unto others. Barbara worked for the Postal Service and Gambrel’s Food Market for years. She was a model wife, mother, and Mimi. She was preceded in death by her her husband, Jerry Rutherford; her parents, Jack and Opal Smith; and her son, Jackie Rutherford. She is survived by her sisters, Kathy Harbin and Deborah Woolum; brothers, Mike Smith and John Smith; her sons, Jason Rutherford (Danielle) of Lexington, KY and Ean Rutherford of Lexington, KY; her daughter-in-law, Sonja Rutherford of Morristown, TN; her grandchildren, Isabella, Tressa, Hailey, Alexis, and Gavin Rutherford. A private viewing of Barbara will be held for the family on Feb 12th, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held at the Big Jim Cemetery in Arjay at 3:00 PM.
