Barbara Ann Mccoy Rose

Barbara Ann McCoy Rose, 78, of Lexington, formerly of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Pineville on November 12, 1937 a daughter of the late Estil and Laura Maiden McCoy. She believed in the Pentecostal Faith and had been a homemaker. She was a beloved wife, mother and mamaw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Doug Rose. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Virgil Rose, children and their spouses, Elizabeth and Harold Haley; Michael and Rhonda Rose; Doug's beloved wife, Elizabeth Rose; grandchildren, Laura Haley Martin and husband, Tyler and Jessica Haley and a host of brothers, sisters, loved ones and friends. Services will be at 2:30 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Houston. Burial will be in Hickory Flat Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Rose Family.
