Barbara Sue Mcgeorge

Barbara Sue Miracle McGeorge, 76, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born in Harlan County on October 7, 1938, a daughter of the late Curtis and Betsy Ann Hoskins Miracle. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and had been a homemaker. Barbara was a loving, caring and best mother and grandmother who would do anything for anyone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Demous McGeorge, a sister, Opal Collett and brothers, Robert Gale Miracle and Lester Miracle. Survivors include her children, Nicole McGeorge, R.B. McGeorge and April Elliott; grandchildren, Michelle McGeorge, Amanda Lester and Jessica McGeorge; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Epperson, Cody McGeorge, Evelyn Lester, Aubry Lester, Lacy Lester, Delaney Lester and Jocelyn McGeorge; sisters, Shirley Brock, Jean Saylor, Pauline Delph and Imajean 'Cush' Cheek and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Medley. Burial will be in the Wilder Cemetery at Miracle with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the McGeorge Family.
