Barbara Ann Smith Helton

Barbara Ann Smith Helton, 53, of Pineville, passed away on April 14, 2011 at The Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center. She was born in Pineville on May 1, 1957 a daughter of the late Victor and Florida Jean Mason Smith. She was a member of the Dorton Branch Church of God and had been a homemaker. She had served on the Pineville Housing Authority Committee. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Charlie Johnson, brothers, Benjamin Smith, Homer Smith and David Smith and sister, Rose Mary Moore. Survivors include her husband, Auther Garrett Helton, children, Ricky Johnson, Kristy Lynn Helton and Patrick Garrett Helton; grandchildren, Francisca ?Pooh? Rogers, Catherine ?Cat? Rogers, Candace Nicole ?Bit? Johnson, Tyra Johnson, Cordale ?Pug? Whitley , Aubrey ?Sister? Cloud, Johnny Hobbs, Jr. and Amber Hobbs; great-grandchild, Bentley 'Chuck' Johnson; brother, Billy Ray Smith and sisters, Virginia Middleton and Penny Hoskins and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
