Auburn E. England, 88, of Tazewell, Tennessee, passed away on  Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on March 30, 1936, and was a son of the late Hubert and Gladys Collins England. Auburn was a member of Freewill Baptist Church and played the banjo for the Tennessee Gospel Brothers. He was a welder for B & M Machine Shop, working on coal mining equipment until he retired.

In addition to his parents, Auburn was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Dorothy Gilbert England; siblings, Bimmer England, Wynonee Berry, and Vetta Killion.

Survivors include his daughter, Rita Fox; sons, Phillip England, Mark England, and Melvin England; grandchildren, Barry Brooks, Phillip England, Christopher England, Melonie England, Ramona England, Sydney England, Alona England, Alexander England and Haley England; sisters, Darlene Rowlette and Gail Headrich; brother, Denny England; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 7, 2025 at the Scott Cemetery in Harrogate with Rev. Michael Vandergriff. Pallbearers will be Tony Wade, Scott Litton, Issac Shuffle, Jimmy Jordan, Thomas Seals and Mark Wade. The Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate is honored to be serving the England family.
