Ashleigh Sue Hassler

On September 19, 1992 The Lord delivered a sweet most precious package of sugar and spice, Ashleigh Sue Hassler. On July 13, 2016 The Lord took her back home to make heaven a little brighter. She gave her life to The Lord when she was only 6 years old. She was a member of Gap Creek Baptist Church.

Ashleigh is survived by her parents, Mark (& Julie) Hassler of Mount Juliet, TN and Melissa Howard (& Milford) Tuttle of Harrogate, TN. Ashleigh leaves behind 3 brothers who adored her, Mark Hassler II of Nashville, Hunter & Ethan Hassler of Cumberland Gap, & two step siblings, Cody & Kady, aunts, Lori Jones of Louisville, KY, Marian Boggs, & Shannon Petrey of Corbin, KY, & a very best lifelong friend Lexus English. Ashleigh leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who mourn her passing.

Ashleigh was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill David & Betty Hassler and James "Jim Crow" Robert Howard & Sandra Sue Johnson Barton of Corbin, KY & great grandparents Willard G. & Thelma Johnson.

A funeral service will be held at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel Monday July 18 at 12 noon with Rev. Donnie Bannister officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM - 12PM. A graveside service will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers: Rusty Patterson, Milford Tuttle, Mike Gibson, Mike Price, Zach Barnett & Tyson Laws.
