Arvie Lee Taylor Jackson, 76 of Corbin, Kentucky, formerly of Bell County, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Baptist Health of Corbin. She was born in Ferndale, KY on July 22, 1942 and was a daughter of the late Harry and Marie Barnett Taylor. Arvie was a believer of the Baptist Faith and had been a Homemaker for most of her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Taylor, and sister, Wanda Faye Robertson. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Harold Jackson of Corbin; sons, Ronnie Jackson and wife Lori of Woodhaven, MI, Jimmie Lee Jackson of Taylor, MI, and Ricky Jackson and wife, Wendy of Corbin, KY; grandchildren, Kevin, Harold, Sarah, Amanda, J.J., Erica, Jonas and Cassie; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Kaleb, Hendrix, Ryder and Sophia; sister, Edith Harris and husband, Bobby; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 5, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. James Ward. Entombment will follow at the Green Hill Memorial Mausoleum in Middlesboro with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 until 9 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville which is honored to be serving the Jackson family.
