Artie Hall Lawson, 91, of Pathfork, KY passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Harrisburg, Illinois. She was born at Beaver Creek, near Topmost, Kentucky on February 11, 1926, and was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Maude Waddles Hall. Artie worked for the Alma Plastics Manufacturing Company for many years, as well as taking on several other jobs, always staying busy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lawson, daughter, Drucilla Lawson Daniels; and siblings, Carl, Curt, Bernie, Gernie, Ertie, Gertie, Birdie and Erdie. Survivors include her children, Mary Omahundro and husband, Larry, William Henry Lawson and wife, Susan, Avery Howard Lawson and wife, Arnetta, Jamie Lawson and wife, Rebecca and Johnny Ray Lawson; a sister, Altie Caudill; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 20 at the Pathfork Holiness Church with Rev. Ronnie Oplinger, Rev. Ray Stepp and Rev. Robert Lee. Music will be by members of the Pathfork Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the Saylor Cemetery at Pathfork with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday after 6 PM at the Pathfork Holiness Church. the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville is honored to be serving the Lawson family.
