Arnold Smallwood, 77 of Middlesboro, passed away on Tuesday, June 07, 2022, at his home. He was born in Bledsoe, Kentucky on March 28, 1945, a son of the late Earland and Purlina Hoskins Smallwood. Arnold was a member of the East Cumberland Baptist Church, had worked at General Motors, and had been a lead Mechanic at Epps Chevrolet. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nanny Howard; and brothers, Tommy Smallwood and Melvin Smallwood. Arnold is survived by his wife, Bobby Ray Smallwood; children, Katrina Lawson and Wesley Smallwood; grandchildren, Gabrielle Harp, Jade Alexandra Smallwood, Colton Smallwood, Kassidy Hoskins, Eli Smallwood, and Christopher Lawson; great-grandchildren, Caleb Harp, Aaron Harp, Lydia Hurst, Serenity Smallwood, Emma Hoskins, Zackery Hoskins, and Oliver Mize; brother, Barney Smallwood; sisters, Maye Combs and Faye Maddon; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. The family will be having a memorial service on Friday, June 10, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 Pm at the East Cumberland Baptist Church in Middlesboro with Rev. Tyler DeBusk presiding.
