Arnold Edward McDonald, 78, of Pineville passed away peacefully Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington. He was born August 14, 1938 son of the late Daniel and Lillie McDonald of Ferndale. He was a retired school bus driver for Bell Whitley. Addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Hobart McDonald, one sister Glladys Adkins, two sons, Randal McDonald and Scott McDonald. Left to morn his passing, his companion of 30 years, Sharon Allen, two sons, Les (Crystal) McDonald, Aaron (Traci) McDonald, four daughters, Connie McDonald, Cathy (Brown) Mason, Amy (EL) Kane, Stephanie (Tim) Justice. Grandchildren, Amanda, Nicole, Jason, Josh, Traci, Les Jr., Daniel, Todd, Melissa, Tanya, Scott, Chris, Kimberly, Tyler, and Ace. Special sister-in-law, Karen Mink and host of other family and friends that loved him dearly. Services will be Wednesday 2:00 PM at the Ferndale Pentecostal Church with Rev. Shannon Harris and Rev. Gary Kidwell. Burial will be at McDonald Family Cemetery at Clear Creek. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be, Wallace Elliott, Jr., James Dean, Ulyess Baker and Curtis Mink. The family will receive friends on Tuesday after 5 until 9:00 PM at the Ferndale Pentecostal Church.
