Arlin "Pete" Brock

Arlin 'Pete' Brock, 79, of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born on November 8, 1935 to Willy Worth and Delia Helton Brock. He had been a general laborer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife. Josephine Hoskins Brock, a son, Phillip Brock, his favorite son-in-law, Rex Hatmaker; grandchildren, Lacy and Issac Brock and brothers, Oscar, Boyd, Carter, Marlin and Lewis Brock and sister, Bessie Hockingsmith. Survivors include his children, Michael Brock, Lou and Nancy Brock, Arthur Lee and Betty Brock, Arlin Covey and Tonya Brock, William and Angie Brock, and Hazel Hatmaker, grandchildren, Michael and Tammy Webb, Jennifer Miracle, Gena and David Seal, Michelle Brock, Steven and Megan Brock, Kayla Brock, Nekoda and Kendra Hatmaker, Hannah and Shane Mills, Savanna Brock, Braxton Adkins, Taylor Mason, Coutrney Howard and Daniel Joseph; great-grandchildren, Trey Miracle, Chase Brock, Shayla Webb, Amirah Brock, Payson Brock, Karlee Cox and Kayleigh Cox and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev W. Terrell Gibson and Rev. Darrell Lowe. Music will be by Cleda Akers. Burial will be in the BrockFamily Cemetery at Brock Hollow with grandsons and Seth Brock serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 9 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Brock Family.
