Ardith Mcgaffee Lock

Ardith Ellen McGaffee Lock, 94 formerly of Pineville, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2008 in Spartanburg, SC. She was born in Bell County on July 21, 1913 the daughter of the late Steve Daniel and Melanie Belle Pigman McGaffee. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Pineville and had been a school teacher. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her husband Reed Montgomery Lock and a brother George William ?Bill? McGaffee. Survivors include her daughter, Martha Bell Russell of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Major Frederick William Russell, III, Reed Lock Russell and Steve McGaffee Russell; six great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Gertrude Gross of Middlesboro and Daisy Lock of Kettle Island; niece, Georgeanne McGaffee of Pineville and a host of other relatives and friends.
