Archie North, Jr.

Archie North, Jr., 68 of Pineville, passed away on February 12, 2022 at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell, Tennessee. He was born in Harlan on February 22, 1953, a son of the late Archie and Ella Miller North. Archie had been a driver for R-Tech. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Zane Shupe; and sister, Berneice North. Archie is survived by his wife, Marilyn Haley North; daughter and son-in-law, Sonia and Travis Peace; son, Christopher David North; grandchildren, Tyler Peace, Rebecca Peace, Shane Peace and wife, Keaton, and Christopher Chandler North; brother, Elton J. North; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home.
