He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Ramsey, parents: William Arch Ramsey Sr. and Sarah Evans Ramsey.

He is survived by his sister: Maxine Ramsey Anderson and her husband Russell Anderson of Michigan. Half -brother: John C. King of Paintsville, Kentucky;.Niece Lisa Anderson of Michigan.

Funeral services at noon Friday, June 15, 2012 at Reece Valley Chapel.
